If you are uncomfortable singing a solo for auditions, just get someone to sing with you – that’s fine. Please bring a musically talented friend, such as yourself, with you to auditions. We need everyone we can get!! I’m especially in the market for men!! Please bring the sheet music with you if you wish Katy to be your accompaniment for auditions or a CD and boom box will work.
The Very Important, Essential Dance Troupe: Mayeisha Parker is our choreographer. She has great plans for you. For your information, there is no tap in this show. So encourage your friends to come out and have fun! Bring your girlfriends and particularly those boyfriends – we need the guys!! If they have rhythm, they can do these dances, because we can teach them. Be the Pied Piper and have a long line of young friends following you to auditions. As you can see, there are many possible parts for young people in this show, so you may be dancing, singing and performing. FUN! FUN! FUN!
